Structured EUDR compliance built around an AI agent

ZeroBe is a cloud SaaS platform designed for companies required to comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation. At its core is VivIAn, an AI agent that automatically analyses documents, suppliers, product origins, and geographic data. VivIAn cross-references this information with risk sources and produces a documented, traceable risk assessment with clear justifications. The workflow covers information gathering, risk evaluation, and definition of mitigation measures when needed. ZeroBe also generates a structured digital dossier ready for regulatory inspections. The platform targets a complete analysis time of approximately five minutes per supply chain entry. The result is a compliance process that is auditable, defensible, and significantly less reliant on manual effort.

Vision

Defining the compliance problem

EUDR compliance requires importers to assess deforestation risk across complex supply chains. The goal was to replace fragmented manual processes with a single, automated workflow covering risk analysis and dossier generation.

Structure

Agent architecture and data model

VivIAn was designed as an AI agent with dedicated modules for document ingestion, geographic data processing, supplier profiling, and risk scoring. The system integrates external risk data sources and stores every assessment step for full traceability.

Interface

Platform development and user workflows

The web application guides compliance teams through each phase: data submission, automated analysis, risk review, and dossier export. Interfaces were designed to surface VivIAn's assessments clearly and allow teams to annotate or approve findings before finalising the record.

Launch

Testing, validation, and deployment

Assessments were validated against real regulatory scenarios to verify accuracy of risk classifications and completeness of generated dossiers. Performance testing confirmed the target analysis time. The platform was released as a multi-tenant cloud service.
